Serve at Ankeny Free Church

Serving in the church brings so much joy to those who serve and it helps further the kingdom here in Ankeny. We have a variety of ways to get involved with the mission here at Ankeny Free Church. Here are just a few of our serving areas!

Volunteer in our Kid's Ministry (Infant—5th grade) on Sunday mornings or Wednesday evenings.

Volunteer in our Student Ministry (6th - 12th grade) on Wednesday evenings.

Welcome and engage those attending church on Sunday mornings. You can serve once a month, or more if you'd like.

Band, vocals, audio, video, tech

Become a prayer partner and receive prayer requests.

Please select from one or more of the items below to help serve those in need

Help provide safety and security for our Sunday morning and Wednesday evening services.

Engage with our local mission partners / short-term mission opportunities

Event planning, decor, meal prep, event set up / clean up

Help with maintaining church grounds - landscaping, gardening, watering etc.

Help maintain church facilities - cleaning, painting, repairs, specialized skills etc.

Help with photography, videography, graphic design, social media, seasonal/special event decor

Crisis response, disaster relief
